Mediterranean Pasta Salad
Canned tuna is a must-have in the pantry. Adding tuna to pasta salads adds protein and flavor to the recipe. A light oil and lemon juice dressing lighten up the pasta salad, giving it a crisp, fresh taste.

Ingredients
- 16 ounces Ronco Penne
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 pounds plum tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 (12.5 ounce) cans water-packed tuna, drained and flaked
- 1/2 cup fresh basil, cut into thin strips
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced, pitted black olives
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse pasta under cold water; chill.
- Cook green beans just until crisp-tender.
- Drain and cool beans quickly by rinsing under cold water.
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
