Fresh Tomato and Tuna Sauce
Tuna and tomatoes are a favorite combination in Southern Italy. Whether it’s a salad or a hot pasta dish, this pasta recipe is a true classic with big bold flavors.

Ingredients
- 3 cups Ronco Mostaccioli
- 2 pounds firm ripe small tomatoes or plum tomatoes, diced (about 3 cups)
- 1 can (6 1/2 ounces) chunk light tuna, drained
- 1/4 cup minced red onion
- 1/4 cup minced Italian flat-leaf parsley
- 6 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Cook & drain pasta according to package directions.
- Combine the tomatoes, tuna, red onion, parsley, oil, garlic, salt & pepper in a large bowl; stir to blend. Toss hot pasta with tomato & tuna mixture; serve immediately.
